Software Engineer/Software Developer

Clayton Kendall is seeking a Software Engineer/Software Developer in Monroeville, PA that will be responsible for designing, executing, testing, monitoring & improving the software that the Company utilizes for its online platforms, including its digital marketplace & e-commerce center. Additional duties include working with team members to write code in various programming languages for the online platforms & logistic systems that satisfies the standards for quality, performance & security in accordance with its timelines & other business necessities; Employing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) & other instruments & methods to design, to develop & to deliver software; Contributing to testing of the efficiency, functionality & security of the software for its online platforms, documenting the same, identifying deficiencies, risks & opportunities for improvement & submitting recommendations to leadership for consideration; Examining how the software that the company utilizes interfaces with various internal & external systems & devices, identifying deficiencies, risks & opportunities for improvement & submitting recommendations to leadership for consideration; Submitting recommendations for software upgrades for existing programs, systems & devices; Documenting every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance & upgrades; Collaborating with fellow software engineers/software developers where necessary to ensure that the software functions as expected.
