Medical Assistant – Busy Specialty Medical Practice Join Our Team! We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy single-physician specialty clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist the physician during office visits and minor procedures Administer injections, medications, and perform basic clinical procedures as directed Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills Answer patient phone calls and respond to messages professionally Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and equipment Follow HIPAA guidelines and infection control protocols Qualifications: Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience) Previous experience in a medical office required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic Reliable attendance and punctuality If you are a caring, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
