Grades 512 Assistant Principal

The Wilmington Area School District is accepting applications for a Grades 512 Assistant Principal. The position reports to the Grades 512 Principal, with an anticipated starting date of January 20, 2027. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience; employment terms are established by the Board of School Directors and Act 93 Agreement.

Responsibilities include student discipline, attendance, school safety and daily operations; instructional leadership and curriculum support with particular emphasis on grades 58; and athletic supervision and compliance with PIAA requirements. Required qualifications include valid Pennsylvania administrative certification appropriate for the position, appropriate teaching certification, and relevant educational experience. Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills are essential.
