WASTEWATER PLANT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

The Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Authority (TRRWA) is seeking a motivated team player, who is creative, problem-solving, energetic, and willing to learn and grow.

The successful candidate will be responsible to perform daily maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment at the Three Rivers Regional Wastewater Plant, three pump stations, interceptor and outfall lines. The candidate will be well versed in millwright type abilities. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting and rebuilding of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, maintenance and repair of motors, gearboxes, and air compressors. The ability to weld, perform alignments and troubleshoot electrical issues is also desired. The candidate will also have ability to interact with others to learn as well as teach. Min. qualifications: Associates degree or high school education and experience in related field may be substituted, one year experience in the maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment similar to that found in activated sludge wastewater treatment plants, ability to read electrical schematic diagrams and to troubleshoot electrical, electronic and instrumentation problems, possess valid drivers license, familiarity with computers and common software programs and data entry, able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and obtain first aid/CPR w/in six months. Employees must pass pre-employment physical and drug test.

2027 salary range: $6,588 $8,455 per month. Anticipated start date: 1/04/27.
